Harvia Cilindro 8 kW Electric Sauna Heater
The Harvia Cilindro 8 kW Electric Sauna Heater (HPCS8U1HB) is the 8-kilowatt variant of Harvia's iconic pillar-style tower sauna heater, a stainless steel column with a tall, glass-front stone bed. The dial-controlled HPCS variant has all controls built into the heater body, no external controller required. Designed for standard to large residential sauna cabins (3–5 person bench) from 141 to 431 cubic feet of interior volume.

Why the 8 kW Size
The Cilindro 8 kW is rated for sauna cabins between 141 and 431 cubic feet, best for standard to large residential sauna cabins (3–5 person bench). Calculate your cabin volume as interior length × width × height. If the cabin includes a glass door or window, add roughly 25% to the calculated cubic footage to compensate for radiant heat loss. For smaller cabins step down to the Cilindro 6 kW; for cabins up to 494 cu ft step up to the Cilindro 9 kW.
Sauna Stones
Cilindro's tall stone column requires significantly more sauna stones than a wall-mounted heater. Each "Cilindro With Stones" package ships with 5 boxes of Harvia AC3000 standard sauna stones, olivine diabase, 5–10 cm size grade, 20 kg (44 lb) per box, the same heat-tested stones Harvia ships with every sauna heater. Verify exact quantity against the installer manual before placement.
Installation & Electrical Requirements
The Cilindro 8 kW requires a dedicated 240V 1-Phase circuit (33.3 Amps, 8 Gauge Copper) wired by a licensed electrician. Cilindro is UL Listed and must be installed per the included manual.
