The Harvia KIP45B Electric Sauna Heater, with its robust stainless steel exterior, offers an authentic Finnish sauna experience through its integrated dial-and-timer control panel. The 4.5 kW KIP is designed for small, well-insulated residential saunas (1–2 person bench) from 100 to 210 cubic feet of interior volume, delivering efficient heating and a sleek, narrow profile that fits into tight wall installations. Available in Stainless Steel (KIP45B) only at this kW size.

Why the 4.5 kW Size
The KIP 4.5 kW is rated for sauna cabins between 100 and 210 cubic feet, best for small, well-insulated residential saunas (1–2 person bench). Calculate your cabin volume as interior length × width × height. If the cabin includes a glass door or window, add roughly 25% to the calculated cubic footage to compensate for radiant heat loss. If your cabin is larger than 210 cu ft, step up to the KIP 6 kW or KIP 8 kW sibling product.

About the Harvia KIP Family
The Harvia KIP is the most popular Finnish wall-mounted sauna heater on the U.S. market, a tall, narrow stainless steel column with a generous stone bed on top, an integrated dial-and-timer control panel built into the side of the heater, and decades of field-proven reliability behind it. KIP has been the simplest, most affordable way to add a true Finnish-style electric sauna heater to a residential build for years.
The dial-control KIP shown here is the no-frills mechanical version: turn the dial, the sauna heats up. If you want digital scheduling, remote start, or WiFi/MyHarvia app control, look at the Harvia KIP Xenio Digital family instead, same heater body, paired with an external Xenio CX170 power unit.
