The Harvia Vega Compact Electric Sauna Heater is Harvia's smallest electric sauna heater, engineered for the tightest residential sauna footprints with an integrated dial control built directly into the heater body. Available in two kilowatt sizes (1.9 kW on 120V or 3.5 kW on 240V), the Vega Compact is the rare true Finnish sauna heater that can run on a standard household 120V outlet (1.9 kW model) or step up to a dedicated 240V circuit for slightly larger cabins (3.5 kW model).
Pick the Right kW for Your Cabin
The two Vega Compact sizes target different cabin volumes AND different electrical configurations. Pick based on whichever constraint is binding for your install, cabin size or available electrical service. Calculate your cabin volume as interior length × width × height. If the cabin includes a glass door or window, add roughly 25% to the calculated cubic footage to compensate for radiant heat loss.

Sauna Stones
Every "Vega With Stones" package ships with one box of Harvia AC3000 standard sauna stones, olivine diabase, 5–10 cm size grade, 20 kg (44 lb) per box. AC3000 is the correct stone size for the Vega Compact's smaller stone bed. The 5–10 cm size grade packs more densely than the larger AC3020 grade, giving you more thermal mass and more even löyly. If you prefer to source stones locally, pick the "Just Heater" package; stones are sold separately.
Installation & Electrical Requirements
Required electrical varies by kW. The 1.9 kW model runs on standard 120V 1-Phase, ideally a dedicated 20-amp circuit (15.9 A draw). The 3.5 kW model requires a dedicated 240V 1-Phase circuit (14.6 A draw, 20A breaker sufficient). Both are UL Listed and must be installed by a licensed electrician per the included manual and local electrical code.
