Available in 16 kW (240V 1-Phase) or 20 kW (208V 3-Phase). Every Virta Pro pairs the Harvia Xenio CX45 Smart Control with the matching LTY45 Power Extension Unit for full WiFi/app control on a commercial-current chassis. Optional Fenix touchscreen upgrade adds Harvia's next-generation control UI.
Pick the Right kW for Your Cabin
Virta Pro is sized for cabins from roughly 600 cu ft up to 1,400 cu ft, volumes far beyond the residential Virta line. Calculate your cabin volume as interior length × width × height. For commercial installs, also factor in the additional radiant heat loss from glass partitions, doors, and high-traffic ventilation (add 25–35% to the calculated volume).

Xenio CX + Fenix Upgrade, What's the Difference?
Tier 2 ("Virta Pro Heater + Control + Stones") bundles the Harvia Xenio CX45 Smart Control power unit and the matching LTY45 Power Extension Unit, required as a pair on every Virta Pro because of the heater's commercial-grade current draw. The Xenio CX45 ships with WiFi built in and connects to the MyHarvia smartphone app for remote start and scheduling.
Tier 3 ("Virta Pro Heater + Control + Stones + Fenix Upgrade") adds the Harvia Fenix FX004XW Touchscreen Display on top of the Xenio CX45, Harvia's next-generation control UI, for the longest-runway platform investment as Harvia eventually transitions from the Xenio control panel to the Fenix touchscreen across the line.
Sauna Stones
Virta Pro's tall vertical stone bed and commercial-scale kW output require a substantial volume of sauna stones to hold and release heat evenly across long, multi-session commercial usage. Every "Heater + Control + Stones" package (and the Fenix Upgrade tier) ships with the correct quantity of Harvia AC3020 sauna stones, olivine diabase, 10–15 cm size grade, 20 kg (44 lb) per box. The larger 10–15 cm grade is preferred for Virta Pro because the bigger stones pack more efficiently into the heater's vertical stone bed and they hold heat longer through repeated water throws. Stone quantity by kW: 5 boxes (16 kW), 7 boxes (20 kW).
Installation & Electrical Requirements
Virta Pro is commercial-grade and requires a dedicated heavy-duty circuit wired by a licensed electrician familiar with commercial sauna installations: the 16 kW HL16U1 runs on 240V 1-Phase at 66.7 A (4 AWG copper minimum); the 20 kW HL20U3 runs on 208V 3-Phase at ~55.5 A per leg (6 AWG copper minimum). Always defer to the included Harvia installation manual and your local AHJ for final wire-size and overcurrent-protection requirements. Virta Pro is UL Listed.

Harvia Virta Pro is the commercial-grade big brother of the residential Virta, same brushed stainless steel housing and top-loaded vertical stone bed, scaled up for the demands of light- and full-commercial sauna installations. Available in 16 kW (240V 1-Phase, HL16U1) and 20 kW (208V 3-Phase, HL20U3) outputs, the Virta Pro is rated for sauna cabins from roughly 600 cu ft up to 1,400 cu ft, the volumes typical of boutique fitness studios, hotel spas, club lounges, and multi-bench residential builds.
Because the Virta Pro draws far more current than the standard Xenio CX45 can switch on its own, every Virta Pro install pairs the CX45 Smart Control with the matching LTY45 Power Extension Unit (a contactor box that hands off the high-current load while leaving the CX45 in charge of scheduling, WiFi/MyHarvia app control, and temperature regulation). The optional Fenix Upgrade adds Harvia's next-generation FX004XW touchscreen display on top of the Xenio CX.
