The Patio L Plus Outdoor Sauna Cabin Kit is a premium-grade product designed for installation in the backyard and outdoor spaces across Canada and the USA. Unlike traditional saunas that require custom construction on-site, this sauna is prefabricated and shipped in sections/parts, making it much easier to install. The factory-made components of the Patio L Plus are pre-made and ready to be assembled according to the instruction manual, saving you both time and money. The open area is ideal for having an outdoor hot tub or cold tub.

What is the advantage of ThermoWood®?

ThermoWood® is heat-treated at 400+°F to drive out resins and moisture. The result is a timber that resists warping, rot, and insects while providing better insulation than cedar or hemlock. It's what gives a Leil sauna its long service life outdoors.

Why does Leil use Thermo-Alder and Thermo-Aspen for the benches?

These species have very low thermal conductivity - they stay smooth and cool to the touch even when the ambient air hits 190-200°F. You won't feel the "sting" that resinous cedar can produce at high heat.

Is a heater included?

No. Leil ships as a cabin kit. Choose your heater bundle from the Heater Package dropdown - we offer complete packages from Harvia, Homecraft, and HUUM, or select "Bring Your Own Heater" if you're sourcing separately.

What kind of foundation does the sauna need?

A level, non-shifting foundation - a concrete pad, gravel pad with pavers, or a reinforced deck rated for the sauna's weight. Prefab kits are heavy (1,000-1,800+ lbs depending on model). We can help you size the pad if you send us your site details.

For Leil Saunas, how long does assembly take?

Smaller Leil models can be assembled by two people in one long day. Larger models typically need a full weekend and a third person to lift the glass wall panels safely. Detailed illustrated instructions ship with the kit.

What's the warranty?

Leil manufacturer warranty: 24 months on the sauna structure and hardware, with limited multi-year coverage on the ThermoWood® cladding against structural rot. Heater warranties are provided separately by the heater manufacturer (Harvia, Homecraft, or HUUM).

Can I use this sauna year-round?
